What personal data we hold on you:
For Administrators, which includes Committee Members and Results Secretaries, we hold your name and either one or more telephone numbers or one or more email addresses, or both, and optionally your postal address. For Club and Team Contacts, we hold your name, and either one or more telephone numbers or one or more email addresses, or both, and optionally your BTM number. For Team Players, we hold your name, optionally one or more telephone numbers, optionally one or more email addresses and optionally your BTM number.

How we collect this data:
For Administrators, we collect this data through initial correspondence with you when setting up the website. For Committee Members and Results Secretaries we collect this data through the Administrators entering the data onto the website through their own correspondence with you. For Club and Team Contacts, we collect this data through the Administrators and/or Results Secretaries entering the data onto the website through their own correspondence with you. Optionally we collect this data through existing Club and Team Contacts entering the data onto the website during online team entry through their own correspondence with you. For Team Players, we collect your name through Club and Team Contacts entering your name onto a match card. Optionally we collect your telephone numbers and email addresses through Club and Team Contacts entering data onto the website through their own correspondence with you.

Why we need your personal data:
Logon to the website: In order for you to create a logon to the website we need to verify who you are. We do this by asking you to enter your name onto the website and then complete the missing characters and numbers from you contact details, we then send you a code to your contact details which you must enter onto the website and choose a password. If you subsequently forget your password then the validation process, as described above, is used to reset your password.

Communicate with you: Administrators have the ability to use your contact details to send you emails through the website. For Administrators, League Officials and Results Secretaries we use your contact details to allow those logged onto the website to send you feedback, without exposing your contact details. NOTE: the contact details of those logged onto the website are provided as part of the feedback. For Results Secretaries, we use your contact details to automatically notify you of VOID and POSTPONED / UNFINISHED matches. For Team Contacts, we use your contact details to automatically notify you of changes to fixture status.

To report singles player results: we generate reports of all signals matches containing your name and BTM number. These reports are available to those visiting the website without having to logon. These reports are sent to the LTA, by league officials, for the purposes of updating individual players LTA ranking, based on league match results.

Who we share your personal data with:
We do not share your personal data with anyone. However, for Committee Members and Results Secretaries your name is listed as a league official, your contact details, including postal address, are not displayed in the handbook, unless you set your privacy to PUBLIC or your privacy is set to LEAGUE and the viewer has logged onto the website. For Club & Team Contacts, your name is listed as a contact for the club / team you represent, your contact details are not displayed on the website, or optionally the handbook, unless you set your privacy to PUBLIC or your privacy is set to LEAGUE and the viewer has logged onto the website. For Team Players, your name is listed on the match card and optionally as a starred player and listed in the player rankings. Your contact details are not displayed on the website, or available for download, with the exception of being made available to your team contact. NOTE: For all your contact details, and privacy settings, are common across all leagues that you participate in that use this website framework.

How long we hold your personal data:
We hold your personal data for the duration that you are an active participant in the League. As soon as you are no longer a league official or associated with a club or team your personal data will be marked for deletion. We periodically remove personal data marked for deletion.

You can view the personal data we hold on you by logging on to the website and clicking the USER DETAILS tab followed by the MY DETAILS menu item. You can modify, including removing, your contact details from this page.

Following on from their first success in 1977, Dave Billing, Les Hodgson and Peter Helme survived - though it would be almost 20 years before their next title. Anyone remember those Saturday morning 10.00 starts on Millom park ?

DALTON 1986

This photo of the '82 cup winning team features four of the Dalton first team (Weatherburn/Barnes/Moore/Webster) that finally landed the title after the previous four years had seen the 'cricketers' finishing as runners-up. You gotta dig those green flash sneakers, woody max-plys and the ubiquitous white tennis balls !

WESTMOUNT 1991
Barney Raine - Paul Stubbs - Paul Daly - Jeff Atkinson

Promoted the previous year and inspired by their Wasps rugby union star, Barney Raine, Westmount were a revelation, dropping only three points on their own formidable grass courts, they landed the title with an outrageous late season run

WANDERERS 1992
Dave Ronald - Stephen Williams - Ed Booth - Gary Weatherburn

The beginning of Wanderer's ten year domination of the Barrow league. The acquisition of county star Ed Booth to replace Steve Moore made Wanderers the most formidable outfit around. Booth himself was replaced three years later by Manchester star Grant Roxborough.

WANDERERS 2001
Seb Stones - Stephen Williams - Gary Weatherburn

The end of an era - For their last five titles, between 1997 and 2001, Seb, Steve and Gary had been ever presents, with Dave Ronald winning his 12th and last title in '99 before young Matt Bundy teamed up with Weatherburn for the '00 and '01 title successes

BROUGHTON 2002
Andy Hodgson - Rob Reay - Noel Chambers - Graham Billing

By the noughties, there were new kids on the block, and the Broughton 'young guns' cleaned house everywhere they played. The youngest ever title winning side, they were to win seven titles in the next nine years. Easy Tigers !

BROUGHTON 2004
Dave Billing - Graham Billing - Rob Reay - Andy Hodgson

Broughton became only the third team following Dalton in the 80's, then Wanderers in the 90's to complete a hat-trick of titles. After losing their first two matches, the lads went on a run of eight wins in a row with Dave Billing and Arthur Adams joining regulars Graham Billing, Noel Chambers, Rob Reay and Andrew Hodgson for what was in the end very much a squad achievement

BROUGHTON 2005

By 2005, Broughton's dominance was resembling Wanderers during the nineties. Arthur Adams had replaced Noel Chambers as a regular, but their success continued. This title completed four in a row, just edging out Bae Systems (Hawcoat park) who themselves would take the next two titles in 2006 and 2007.

BROUGHTON 2008
Jonas Ilett - Graham Billing - Andy Hodgson - Les Hodgson

Since the 2005 season, Les Hodgson had teamed up with son Andy to form a potent top pairing, while Jonas Illet, a regular on the Duddon league scene, was recruited and became a regular in the side from 2008 onwards, helping Graham Billing and Arthur Adams to add a further three titles in 2009 and 2010, to the four won at the start of the millennium.

BROUGHTON 2010
Andy Hodgson - Les Hodgson - Graham Billing - Arthur Adams

After dominating the last decade, Broughton's last title to date came in 2010 - though they were to finish runners up in the following three years before the side eventually began to fragment. Without doubt one of the finest sides to ever grace the league.

ST BERNARDS 2011
Steve Bushell - Steve Shields - Lee Crawford - Liam Crawford
Nigel Sharples - Chris Savage - Roger Burns - Richard Burns

Broughton's closest rivals the last three years, the 'Bernie boys', featuring county star Richard Burns, claimed their one and only title after a thrilling three-horse race went to the last game of the season - Bernard's second team taking a vital point away at Broughton and claiming the championship for their first team by just half a point.

CONISTON 2012
David Jackson - Andy Knipe - Richard Bell
Jeff Atkinson - Jonny Blaine - Peter Helme

Bolstered by the signings of Jonny Blaine and Richard Bell, Coniston's squad now acquired a cutting edge and stormed to their first title success, winning every match they played. The side would successfully defend their title in 2013, mainly through the efforts of top pair Helme & Knipe and indeed the team would remain unbeaten for a period of almost four years.

DALTON 2014
Dave Staunton - Paul Stubbs - Jon Burns - Liam Crawford

Dalton welcomed back Liam Crawford to the fold, and his partnership with Jon Burns proved vital, winning every match they played and contributing massively to Dalton's success. Paul Stubbs was supported by Dave Staunton or Pat Thomas, and the side remained unbeaten, clinching the title on the last day of the season, with a draw against nearest rivals Coniston, and by just half a point.

WANDERERS 2015
Stephen Williams - Chris Featley - Mike Brown - Ian Winters

Following a period in the doldrums, a raft of new recruits emerged from 2014 onwards, including Ian Winters, Chris Featley and Alan Isherwood. Combining with the Wanderers regulars, the new squad was an immediate success, winning three titles in a row between 2015 and 2017.

WANDERERS 2017
Ian Winters - Paul Baker - Mike Brown - Stephen Williams

Wanderers made it three on the bounce in 2017, taking advantage of rivals Coniston's preoccupation in the Kendal league and Dalton inexplicably falling away at the business end of the season. Such was Wanderers strength in depth, their powerful second team including Paul Baker, Lewis Freislick and Tom Neighbour made regular first team appearances whilst also taking vital points off their main rivals.

In Autumn, Wanderers won the inaugural Cumbria Cup to become County Champions

CONISTON 2018
Peter Helme - Jeff Atkinson - John Bell - Steve Bushell - Joseph Wilkinson

A mixture of youth and experience brought Coniston their third Barrow league title in 2018. Youth in the form of young under 18 county star Joseph Wilkinson and that perennial youngster Dan Johnson, with experience in the shape of Cumbria county vets top pairing of Peter Helme & John Bell, ably supported by Steve Bushell and Jeff Atkinson.

CONISTON 2020
Peter Helme - Mike Code - Jeff Atkinson - Joseph Wilkinson

In a season where local sport was decimated, the Barrow league completed a full program, which saw Coniston regain the title, and in the process, repeating their feat from 2012 and winning every match they played. Kirkby's Mike Code formed an irresistible partnership with Peter Helme, while Joseph Wilkinson & Jeff Atkinson lost just the one rubber together. The regulars were well supported by Steve Bushell, who featureds heavily in the second half of the season, Kendal's Roger Aubrey and their sensation from Seascale, Rob Brown.

For good measure, the side added the Cumbria Cup and the One-Day shield to complete a memorable season.
